From the outset, the aim of the Bedford Square Festival was to promote the culture based around a London Square, sharing this with our neighbours in Bloomsbury and beyond. We wanted to open the doors of the grand facades of the buildings in the Square and celebrate the culture that we pride ourselves on - art, literature, architecture, history, education, and more!

Following on from the success of the first Bedford Square Festival in 2017, the 2018 festival was even bigger and better, building engagement with the wider community in and around Bedford Square.

The 2018 theme was Share The Square. We celebrated our collective histories, spaces, communities and knowledge, with a focus on inspiring new creative collaboration between institutions, businesses and individuals in the area.

Bedford Square Festival will be returning 3-6 July 2019.
